Carson City, Nevada

More driving through the nothingness of Nevada, and we ended up in Carson City, the capital.  We stayed at Gold Dust West Casino and RV Park for three nights, based on reasonable rates ($27/nt plus tax) and great reviews.  The bathhouse and showers were clean and nice.  Steve happily took the money they gave as incentives to spend money in their casino, and without spending any of our own money, got $50 in return, which made the stay even easier on the budget.

We drove to Virginia City for the day.  It's definitely a tourist trap, but it was still fun to look around.  We browsed through lots of antique shops and jewelry stores.  One lady had free paperbacks at her  antique shop, and she actually had a few good ones that we picked up.

Bacon soda & buffalo wing soda, gross, but Cheerwine is good.

These two look like twins.
Virginia City Main Street.   I could only take so much of this tourist trap.
Bedhead hair and a beautiful smile!
