This morning (note, morning), Alyssa asked me if she could eat a marshmallow "before they get worn out." Didn't know that could happen to marshmallows! Now...what's your reason??
Yes, they can get old. Don't have a reason to eat one unless it's combine with a smore. In that case doesn't it make the smore healthy because it's in the milk category?
As for me, I personally can't think of a good reason to eat a marshmallow. I only consent to the purchase of them when we're going camping...and we never finish them, so then they get "worn out," although I have never used such terminology before yesterday! ;)
Marshmallows are good for smores & rice krispie treats! My mom & dad have a firepit, so they keep smores supplies on hand for when the grandkids come over. When we were there over Labor Day, we had to convince Grandma that her marshmallows really WERE worn out & to throw them out! ha, ha Apparently they haven't used the firepit enough lately... :)
